The manuscript collection preserves the autobiography of Jevrem Grujić, originally intended for the Serbian Learned Society, later known as the Serbian Royal Academy.
This manuscript — in fact, a transcription made by his wife, Jelena Grujić — contains only the first three volumes and ends with the departure from London and Grujić’s transfer to Paris in 1889.

The majority of the postcards date from the period before World War II (1940).
Thanks to the popularity of Bukovička Banja Spa, postcards featuring motifs of Aranđelovac or the spa itself began to appear relatively early.
The prestige that our spa held in comparison to other spas in Serbia encouraged booksellers and merchants to publish postcards with photographs, most commonly depicting parts of the park and its buildings. In a smaller number, postcards also show city streets or private houses.
The photographs preserved in the historical collection of the National Museum of Aranđelovac bear witness to the social life of its citizens, their participation in wars, and key events related to the town’s development.
They were taken by local photographers from Aranđelovac — Najdanović, Marinković, Mitrović, Marković — as well as by prominent photographers from Kragujevac, Belgrade, and Novi Sad, such as Ljubiša Đonić, Milan Jovanović, and Iskalović, among others.

The collection of weapons and military equipment is predominantly composed of arms from the Second World War, inherited from the former Museum of the National Liberation War (NOB).
There is a significantly smaller number of Ottoman-era weapons — such as yataghans, sabers, and hand grenades (kumbara) — dating from the time of the First Serbian Uprising.
However, the most valuable and historically significant item in the collection is the Tančica rifle (also known as an Arnautka), which belonged to Tanasko Rajić, standard-bearer of Karađorđe and a participant in both the First and Second Serbian Uprisings.
The collection of old and rare books includes volumes from the library of Priest Ranko from Rudovci, a prominent historical figure of the Second Serbian Uprising.

Numerous medals and decorations are preserved within the Historical Collection.
These museum items stand as evidence of the participation of Aranđelovac citizens in all struggles for the liberation and independence of Serbia.
The Historical Collection also houses two exceptionally valuable legacies:
– the Legacy of Dušan Petrović Šane and
– the Legacy of Radovan Grujić.
These legacies contain a large number of domestic and foreign decorations from the post–World War II period, as well as travel documents, personal belongings, and more.
