On this day in 1981, the National Museum in Arandjelovac was founded.
This significant anniversary, 40 years of existence, will be celebrated by the Museum with a series of representative events in the coming months.
We will kick off the festivities with music, featuring a concert by the duo MoMArt, followed by the exhibition “Aleksandar Đonović: Between ‘Pure Art’ and ‘Aesthetic Appropriateness'” by author Tanja Vićentić, art historian at our Museum.
The exhibition is dedicated to the painter Aleksandar Đonović and is organized to commemorate two anniversaries: 90 years since the artist’s birth and 30 years since his death.
The exhibition opens on July 25 at 8 PM at the National Museum in Arandjelovac.
The Museum invites all citizens and guests of our city to attend this festive event.
