Museum visitors enjoyed an extraordinary event last night.
The project “When Frescoes Speak…” (see the article here) was successfully realized, and the presentation of works created in numerous workshops exceeded all expectations.
In the following photos, you can see costumes presented to the audience by some of the creators, as well as members of the Cultural and Artistic Society “Abrašević” from Aranđelovac. On the runway, rural, urban, noble, and royal costumes appeared in succession. Narrators complemented the visual display with Jovan Dučić’s Imperial Sonnets.
The overall impression of both the project creators and costume designers, as well as participants and the audience, is extremely positive. Months of work and all the effort invested led to results that will be talked about for a long time and will surely inspire similar endeavors in the future.
