The Minister of Culture, Vladan Vukosavljević, and the Bishop of Šumadija, Jovan, visited the Dvorine site.

A meeting was held yesterday at the National Museum in Aranđelovac, attended by Minister of Culture Vladan Vukosavljević, Bishop Jovan of Šumadija, Bojan Radović, President of the Municipality of Aranđelovac, Danijela Vanušić, Assistant Minister for Cultural Heritage, Branislav Maričić, Chief of the Minister’s Cabinet, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dejan Radičević (Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade), Dr. Emina Zečević (National Museum in Belgrade), Protojerej-Stavrofor Mićo Ćirković, Dean of Orašac, representatives of the Republic Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments, representatives of the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments in Kragujevac, and the National Museum in Aranđelovac.

The discussion focused on the results of archaeological research at the Dvorine-Mađarsko Cemetery site at the foot of Venčac, after which the attendees visited the site.

It was concluded that this is an exceptionally significant discovery, and a schedule was established for further research and conservation of the church remains and other structures, which will proceed with the full support of the Ministry of Culture and Information.
