The National Museum in Aranđelovac and the Archaeological Institute in Belgrade recently conducted trial archaeological excavations at the Dizaljka site in Lipovac, where remains of a large Neolithic settlement of the Vinča culture, approximately 6,500 years old, are located. The excavation was led by Prof. Dr. Slaviša Perić (Archaeological Institute), and the rest of the expert team included archaeologists Ružica Arsenijević, Vesna Popović, Filip Stefanović (Museum in Paraćin), and Vladan Milivojević (National Museum in Aranđelovac).
