A new issue of the Journal of the Serbian Archaeological Society, alongside Starinar, the most significant archaeological publication in Serbia, has recently been published.
The cover features an item from the Archaeological Collection of the National Museum in Aranđelovac—a fresco fragment from the Dvorine site (Venčac), discovered during the excavation of a monumental church built in the mid-14th century. This exceptional artwork, like the architecture, indicates that the church’s patron was undoubtedly a ruler from the Nemanjić dynasty.
